Worship and Fellowship
Sunday Worship
We have a varied but regular pattern of worship at Broken Cross:
- Communion Services
- Quieter reflective services
- All Age Worship Services with worship band and singers
- Healing Services
- Circuit Services
- Ecumenical Services
Our main service is on Sunday 10.30 - 11.30am.
Be prepared for a good variety of worship services at 10.30:
- 1st Sunday in month is usually Communion with worship band
- 2nd Sunday in month is a more traditional preaching service
- 3rd Sunday in month is All Age Worship with band and uniformed organisations parade
- 4th Sunday in month is a more traditional preaching service
- Coffee is served after the 10.30 am service which is a great time to join in to get to know one another.
We hold an early morning service (once a month) at 9.00am. This is a quiet devotional communion service.
We also hold an evening service (once a month) at 6.30pm. This is usually a traditional service.
For details of all services follow link to calendar.
Sunday Club
The young people spend the first 10-15 minutes or so in church before leaving for their classes (except for the All Age Worship when they stay for the whole service). Very young children are a welcome part of the church family.
Worship Group
Meets twice a month to rehearse for services. As well as singers, we have a music group consisting of keyboard, drums, brass, woodwind, and string instruments.
Fellowship Groups
We have a number of fellowship groups to choose from.
- Prayer Fellowship
- Bible Study
- Women’s Fellowship
Throughout the year, we also run other meetings like Alpha or Lent meetings - follow link to calendar. For further information contact the Minister Rev. Andy Halstead on 01625 424361.
Pastoral Visiting
Every person attached to the Church has a pastoral visitor who is a reference point, who seeks to care for them along with the Minister.
